Strategic and Pedagogical Approaches to Promote Gender Equality in Schools
The present handbook is addressed towards schoolteachers, educators and school management personnel and provides handful material and educational intervention to promote equality between genders in school contexts. The handbook contains didactic and theoretical topics about self-knowledge and gender identities, modern families and genders, and multiculture and gender. Apart from theoretical knowledge, the handbook descriptively presents workshops, exercises and activities to be applied from educators to facilitate the intervention. With both theoretical knowledge and experimental exercises pupils of Primary and Secondary school will be able to consolidate the aforementioned topics and use the concept of Gender Equality in the course of their lives.
