Socio-emotional Capacity Building in Primary Education
Emotional intelligence is a set of innate abilities, which include the ability to recognize, understand and manage emotions, to deal with emotional challenges and achieve our goals. The Erasmus+ Project aims to correct the lack of balance between subject knowledge and social and emotional education. Throughout the achievement of its intellectual outputs, the project will bridge the gap between oneself and the others, guiding parents, teachers and pupils since primary school to a better understanding of what is social and emotional education and how to use it to set the basis for a more inclusive and emotionally healthy society. Training children in Emotional Intelligence from an early age can help them to get into women’s shoes in the course of their life and promote Gender Equality.
