Regulations on Gender Equity
According to the Constitutional Law (Article 4, Section 2), that was introduced in 1975, all Greeks despite their gender have equal rights and obligations to and from the Government. In the same regulation, in 2001, was added that the Government is responsible for the elimination of Gender Inequality and for the promotion of Gender Equity at social, political, cultural, and economic levels. In addition, being proactive, taking precautions, and imposing campaigns to eliminate Gender Inequity is not considered discriminatory based on the same regulation.
