The Gender Equality Division:
– commits to true equality between men and women
– undertakes specific commitments in the Programme for Government on gender equality
– supervises the implementation of the National Strategy for Women and Girls
– monitors and reports on national and international commitments on gender equality
Their work includes bettering female representation in the workplace, in public appointments and on company boards, in politics, confronting gender-based violence and communicating with women to ensure their voices are strengthened in the government.
