European Social Fund: Programme for Employability, Inclusion and Learning (PEIL) 2014 -2020 – Training for Women returning to the Workplace and for Women’s Entrepreneurship

This project is co-funded by the Government and the European Social Fund (ESF) and aims to support women in Ireland who are neither employed nor unemployed but are detached from the labour market.

The following supports are offered:

– A locally delivered development course: focusing on self-development and work-related skills, such as confidence building, basic work-related IT skills, CV development, interview and presentation skills

– A programme targeting an increase in female entrepreneurship, focusing on supporting women in business

Most recently, an open call for applications was made in 2019 for gender equality projects that support women’s entrepreneurship and participation in the workplace through a range of training and mentoring initiatives.
