Workshops to Promote Gender Equity

In 2004, the program named “GEcel”, under the “SOCRATES Grundtvig” initiative of the European Commission, and with the collaboration of the Equality Research Centre (a.k.a. K.E.TH.I.) of the Greek Government, conducted 2 workshops to 39 Government Employees, mainly women working at K.E.TH.I. or at Ministries. The ultimate goal of the workshops was to raise awareness on issues such as the relationship between women and men, gender inequity, and the context of gender mainstreaming in the politics of the country.
