Women for Rights: Stories from Around the World
Women for Rights: Stories from Around the World is a collection of lesson plans based on the stories of ten women who have stood up for human rights around the world, both in history and today. Through the stories, teachers can open various curriculum topics from their mother tongue to social studies, from geography to art, and the connections with the goals of sustainable development are also pointed out.
The material was prepared by NGO Mondo within the framework of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs project “Children’s and women’s rights in the world through people’s stories” from development and humanitarian aid funds in cooperation with the NGO Estonian Civic Education Center.
